Roya Alidjani is a writer, director, and producer and Co-Founder of Ladytrap Productions, a dynamic production company dedicated to contemporary, audacious storytelling that resonates with the unheard and the underserved. An alum from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, she has dedicated her time to producing, directing, and writing narrative films, music videos, and commercials.
Recently, Roya has produced for PBS, nominated short film “Apollo”, and Tribeca selected short film “Burrow”. As an Iranian-American female filmmaker, Roya always aims to focus on the more difficult stories in hopes of including underrepresented individuals in front of and behind the screen.
Besides producing, Roya recently directed a short film, “My Yellow, Your Red” which is currently in the festival circuit. She is also in development for her debut feature film, “Wildwood.”
